To participate, you must apply and speak with our Executive Director. We welcome new schools to join our virtual exchange program, open to students in grades 5-12 across the United States. Schools must have reliable internet access for video calls, and students should have access to laptops or computers for seamless connectivity.
We partner with the teacher to create private and secure logins for students to access the browser-based platform. No installations are required. This platform is accessed similar to Google Classroom or other Learning Management Solutions.
This platform has been approved by many school technical administrators for being secure and maintaining privacy requirements of educational institutions. Information is not shared or transcribed via email.
Our platform administrators and teacher have the opportunity to moderate content for all student communications, posts and projects.
Students and teachers – in both countries – have an opportunity to post and share photos, videos, audio and additional files to engage with one another.
We create a private and secure group for your classroom and other groups you are collaborating with. This is a private space we only invite teachers and students from your school. It is not visible to anyone else. When you log into the platform, this group will be available to you. Within this group, you can post public message, project updates, share videos and media with all the participants!
Teachers can partner with us to customize the group setting and projects, as it fits for your ideas and curriculum.
Based on the partnership and duration of the virtual program, we can create unlimited projects for students and teachers to collaborate.
Within our projects, teachers can post assignments, where students can respond and reply with text and other forms of digital media ( video, images or word documents. )
Projects are a great way for everyone to focus and collaborate on one topic at a time! We are open to your ideas on what projects you may want to choose.
Our platform is designed for students and teachers to easily share and access media from the partnering school.
All exchange of media is completed on the plaftform. No additional software is required.
Zoom technology is integrated into the platform, so we can quickly and easily setup video calls with another classrooms to collaborate, chat and beyond.
